Hello All, It appears me and some others are having issues with docks / hubs not allowing 30W turbo mode. I have personally tried 4 different chargers, all that support Power delivery of 100W+ and 4 different Docks and hubs all allowing 100W PD. No matter what combination I use, I cannot get any of them to allow 30W turbo mode. I confirmed their 100W capability with with ROG Zephyrus G15 Laptop and an Anker 737 Battery bank. All of them, in every combination, will charge my G15 and Anker 737. The Anker 737 display confirms its charging at a minimum of 90W, this is well above the 65W requirement for 30W Turbo Mode. This seems to be a software/bios issue that hopefully Asus can fix. I have also added a video, of the Armory Crate Notification.

Same here..using a satechi 100w charger, anker 565 hub that supports 100w pass through, and a 100w rated usb c cable..only getting 25w on turbo preset..

I second this observation. I have tried three huds, all claim 90/100 watt pass through. None will trigger above 25 watt read on profile. I am going to see if I can use "manual" to force it, but I shouldn't have to.

I asked Whitson on there discord page about it, apparently they are aware of it

Would you happen to have a link for the Discord please?

Also having this issue. I'm here from reddit BTW since I read OP created this forum. I really want this to work and I'm using the same configuration. I work at a retail store and have tried out over 6 USB hubs with HDMI and 100W PD pass through, and over 6 Different PD wall plugs all of them ranging between 80w-180w. The USB cables I'm using are rated for 140w and is very high quality. All 6 Wall plugs directly connected to the Ally unlock the 30w turbo mode. None of them connected to a dock unlock turbo mode. Definitely has to be a firmware thing, something is going on. Asus is doing a great job btw, armory crate is actually usable on the ally Vs the X670 strix board I have that won't even pick up my 7900XTX lol

I bought a hub from Amazon and messaged the seller thinking they were lying about the 100w but they told me it definitely is rated for 100wthey tested it and also tested on rog ally but it didn't fully work and that's why rog ally isn't listed in the description only steamdeck which requires only 45w or something. I got a 100w ac adapter coming today so if mine works I'll let you guys know.

Well, it probably won’t work, but you’ll still want to keep the 100 watt charger because the dock itself requires 10-15w, meaning the 65W charger the Ally came with won’t be enough to get turbo mode.

With my dock I'm able to get it in turbo mode and the APU Watts shoot to 54w and then down to 42w and sit there. This is what you guys are referring to right? The apu wattage? I don't have it hooked up to hdmi or anything else connected though. Only thing I did was set the config up so fan profile and power to the game to turbo so it automatically sets it when launching subnautica. Hope it helps
