ROG Ally crashes randomly…

Hello!

I just bought my Ally on Friday and it is a cool device. On Saturday it started to freeze on the desktop. It freezes like for 15 seconds then it turns itself off. Sometimes the screen turns black on the freeze. If I starte it after that over and over the freeze started on the loclscreen more often. Sometimes I get a bluescreen with with Clock Watchdog Timeout. Can someone help me?

Is your unit connected to some USB hub instead of the charger? Mine was giving me BSOD under these conditions

1. Connection to USB hub
2. Click power button to switch off screen
3. Wait 30min (??) when the unit switches to sleep mode

Each time it BSOD and reboots, I saw heaps of warnings on Event Log that it was attempting to disconnect a USB device, and messages about USB device draining power. My unit does not BSOD while I am using it tho. So to fix this, I changed the power button to go into hibernate instead of hybrid sleep/ sleep

Thank you for your answer. It happens on the official charger. I did everything. I have now returned the Ally to the store and got a new one. I hope this runs better!
