Right bumper not working

Just got my ROG Ally today, after finishing all updates. Bios and windows related and configuring and installing all desired games. I realized that the right bumper wasn’t working. Had to confirm via keybinds with Minecraft just to confirm that Right Bumper was working. Super sad with the outcome. Hopefully second round looks better because this left me some room for concern.

Any update as to a fix or ASUS repairing it? My LB stopped working for no reason also. Did a factory reset that didnt solve the issues.

I took it back to Best Buy they replaced it with a brand new one 🤣

I just bought the ROG Ally today, and i had the same experience, i let the Ally complete all updates, but when i started a game and tried using the LB it would not register, so i had to go to input test on steam and checked every input, only the LB would not detect it. I will try to replace this unit, but losing confidence in the ROG Ally at the moment.

Return it or put in a RMA. I had this happen to me but it was the left bumper. I had to RMA since it was past 30days. Its been in RMA for 5days now. Seems it's happening more often then it should from the reddit posts. ASUS has not addressed this issue at all.

I purchased ROG Ally just 2 weeks ago and suddenly RB stopped working. It was not after any SW update so device factory reset will not fix this. I will have to RMA it.

Got it fixed, motherboard replaced. However the service centre left the plastic cover on thremal paste/pad so the processor was constantly reaching 95C and throttling. Not mentioning the way how they open the device 😠 Anyway, I fixed that by myself and all good now. Hope you will not have to deal with similar issue.

Just wanted to reply to myself just because I keep receiving email notifications from people responding to having the same issue. My second ROG Ally worked for like 2 months, out of the blue left joystick stopped working for horizontal movement. Super bummed out but I returned a 2nd time. On my 3rd Rog Ally now. Been like an extra 2 months but haven't had to play as much so not sure. I am really happy with the device just seems to be to fragile to wear and tear. Don't give up on it guys!!!
