Noisy Buzzing Rumble after AFMF 2 Update

I have an ALLY X, purchased less than a month ago. I play it politely and keep it in a case, but after updating today to the newest stuff (not a tech person so idk the exact thing that updated but it included the upgrade from AFMF 1 to AFMF 2), when I played a game (HALO MCC) the rumble feature went off the rails. It was rumbling so hard there was a buzzing noise and even a clicking/tapping sound on the left side rumble module. Power cycling the handheld did nothing. Doing an EC/Hardware reset did not work either. Doing a system restore back to before the update did fix it. I re-installed the update and went straight into a game to limit variables, and the problem returned. Only doing a system restore again fixed the rumble issue. Please advise on if there is a way to fix it so I can enjoy AMFM 2 and my game experience at the same time. Thank you in advance and kind regards.

Please try manually updating to MCU version 313 first, and then update to MCU version 314 to see if the update can be completed successfully.

If it still cannot be updated, please tried removing ASUS System Control Interface v3, uninstalling Armoury Crate SE using the uninstall tool, and then reinstalling ASUS System Control Interface v3 version V3.1.40 and Armoury Crate SE to see if there is any improvement?Thank you!

If it helps, I also tried just turning off the AFMF 2 capability in armory crate first to see if the problem was linked to just the AFMF 2 feature or something in the update as a whole and the problem still was there so a full system recovery was the only thing to do.

I would like to confirm if you have completed all updates in Armoury Crate SE and ensured that the MCU has been updated to the latest version 314? Thank you.

I was unable to find where to check to see if it was up to date, but I went to the link and installed it anyways just to be safe. Are there more steps or should I now be able to update to AFMF 2 and see if the problem is resolved?

I just checked the update center AFTER doing the version 314 update but it says my version is 312 and up to date. I re-did the 314 update to be sure and my Armory Crate still says version 312. Is this normal?

I will try this so my system can be up to date. However, I am happy to report that the issue has gone away even with AFMF2 active. I will update the thread if the issue comes back after updating to version 314.

Your link to re-install armory crate is broken but otherwise this worked great! Thank you so much!
