Hey asus I just got a used ROG ally for Christmas I've used it for a month so far and I love the device. I just got a charger from Amazon for it it is a 100w charger and all of a sudden the charger got really hot and the ROG ally stopped charging. I hope all i have to do is buy a new cable and not fix the motherboard because I don't have the money to do that.

We recommend when the device shutting down, removing all external peripherals and the power adapter, then pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds. After that, reconnect the original power adapter and check if there are any changes in the battery indicator light.
If the issue persists, we suggest sending your Ally to a local service center for further inspection to identify the problem. Thank you!

Hey everyone,
I recently ran into an issue with my ROG Ally RC71L where it suddenly stopped charging out of nowhere. It was working fine, and then, one day, it just wouldn't charge.
After searching online, I came across MinecraftJenny-Mod.com where someone had the same issue and found a workaround:
✔ Hard Reset – Hold the power button for 40 seconds and then try plugging it in again.
✔ Check USB-C Port – Dust or lint might be blocking the connection.
✔ Try a Different Charger – The original charger may have failed.
✔ BIOS Reset – Some users reported resetting BIOS helped restore charging.
Has anyone else faced this issue with their ROG Ally RC71L? If so, what worked for you? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🚀
