Hello, good morning. I have a ROG XBOX Ally X with everything updated: Armoury Crate, Windows Update, MyASUS, Microsoft Store…
For the past few days, when Windows starts, the mouse cursor appears in the center of the screen. It disappears as soon as I touch the screen.
Before this issue, the cursor did not show up at startup — Windows would load directly without displaying the mouse cursor.
What could be causing this? Is there a way to fix it?
Thank you.

@RolleR85
May I ask what are the current BIOS version, system version, OS build, MyASUS version, and Armoury Crate SE version on your ALLY?
Could you also provide a video of the issue for our verification?
Thank you.

Thank you for your quick response @Falcon2_ROG . I uploaded a video where you can see that when I turn on the ROG XBOX Ally X, the mouse cursor appears until I touch the screen. Previously, the mouse cursor did not appear at all.
BIOS version: 310.
System version: win11 25h2 26200.7019
MyASUS version: 4.0.49.0
Asus system control interface: 3.1.48.0
Armoury Crate SE version: 2.1.10.0

After confirmation, the Xbox Ally software allows switching the Control mode to support multiple physical keys. When in desktop mode (keyboard and mouse emulation), the mouse cursor will appear, which is normal system behavior. If you want a full controller (Xbox-like) experience, we recommend manually switching the control mode to Game Pad mode and then checking if the situation improves.

Hi @Falcon2_ROG
If I enable gamepad mode or automatic or desktop mode, the mouse cursor always appears on startup, which it didn't do before.
Is there a way to enable touch mode again on startup instead of desktop mode?
Thanks

Question 4: What is App Diagnostics?
Answer 4: App Diagnostics can collect Armoury Crate current status log. In Armoury Crate "Settings"① and check "About"② page, If clicking App Diagnostics "Record Log"③, the Privacy Policy Statement will pop out. Once user agreed statement, the Armoury Crate will start to collect problem log. After that, please start to duplicate the problem you have, then back to this page to click "Generate log data"③ to generate the log file with encrypted (ASUS log file). After log saved, user can provide it to the repair center or technical supporter for further Armoury Crate problem diagnostics.
