Motor Vibration Issue - right joystick

Charlzard

Hello All,

Posting as recommended in ROG Ally discord regarding my motor vibration issue on the right joystick.

After an extended amount of time the motor will begin to become very loud and buzzy. There's others with the same issue as well. I have several videos if needed.

I can reproduce this issue by playing Ghostwire Tokyo for 30 mins or so at 20w-25w. I RMAd my device a few weeks ago to fix the issue, they replaced the joystick board ( I think ) but am still experiencing the same issue.

Any help appreciated

Hi @imglj ,

Since this thread primarily discusses the ALLY vibration issue, which has been resolved through updates, to avoid confusion and ensure your issue is visible for discussion with other users, we recommend creating a new topic. Please include your usage scenario and the tests you have already performed. This will help us further confirm and address your issue. Thank you.

Was the issue resolved for Ghostwire Tokyo? It's not listed in the changelog

Thank you for reporting the vibration issue with the ALLY. • Game/Software where the vibration issue occurred:
  • Armoury Crate SE > Settings > General > About > Service Version > Check Button (Copy all content):
  • please assist by using the MCU dump log to extract the log information and provide it to us for further analysis.

【This is the file path for the log file, provided for your reference.】
In Armory Crate SE, navigate to" Settings">"General" and check the "About" page. Click on "App Diagnostics tool" and select "Log Files" to bring up the Privacy Policy statement.
