Micro card issue still at large

cruzeman2025

I've experienced an issue tonight where I use the scan disk experience. Microcard in my system thinking there was a problem with the Asus rog alley. Come to find out the microcar was slowing down the system to make it malfunction. As soon as I pulled out the SD card it wanted to run slowly. I think it's kind of weird how the more expensive cards are acting up on this system, but I use the cheaper Off-Brand versions of 1 TB cards that take forever to load games on. They seem to work fine. It just makes no sense to me. I think this needs to be fixed and Asus is just ignoring the issue.

So please note if your Asus is running very slow lagging, freezing apps or programs not opening up when needed to Long restarts or shutting down, it is caused by your micro SD card if one is installed. I've experienced this with a scan disk experience. 64 GB micro card

I found out when I put a 64 GB scan disk experience card in this device. It was running very very slow. It was causing apps and programs not to open and not to shut down or restart properly. As soon as I pulled out the SD card it decided to work perfectly fine. I don't know if it's due to the SD card or if it's due to a fault with the system. I also noticed that if I run an off-branded 1 TB microSD card, it will work perfectly fine with no issues, so I think it's just kind of weird. I think y'all need to fix this issue in the in a firmware update or something

Hi @cruzeman2025 ,

If other SD cards work properly, could you please try formatting the problematic SD card and testing it again to see if the issue persists? Thank you.
