MCU Firmware 312 Not Updating?

Hi, 

Today my ROG Ally X's joysticks, buttons and RGB lights suddenly stopped working.

I went to troubleshoot the issue and everything updated fine up until MCU Firmware update version 312. 

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Armoury Crate to no success and have tried updating both with and without the power cable.

Every time I try to update it, it briefly starts and then stops again.

I was wondering if there is any solution?

Please tried removing ASUS System Control Interface v3, uninstalling Armoury Crate SE using the uninstall tool, and then reinstalling ASUS System Control Interface v3 version V3.1.40 and Armoury Crate SE to see if there is any improvement?
If the issue persists, please check the error code displayed next to the red exclamation mark.

Additionally, enable the log recording function in Armoury Crate SE, then repeat the update or installation process. Afterward, share the logs along with the following information via private message so we can further analyze and address the issue. Thank you!

  • Windows Build Version: (Settings > System > About)
  • Armoury Crate SE > Settings > General > About > Service Version > Check Button (Copy all content):
