Hey all,
Has anyone else tried Forza Motorsport from game pass with the latest ROG Ally X?
Was looking forward trying since I got this new device but never managed to get it working. The game keeps crashing after a few mins... I checked the event viewer and there's a corresponding warning entry related to GPU saying it stopped responding each time it crashed... I tried lots of various combinations on the graphics setup in Adrenalin, lots of options in the game itself, no luck...
Obviously tried reinstall game, reinstall Windows, everything is up to date, run as admin, etc... nothing worked...
Wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this.

Forza Motorsport is working great on the X with the latest AMD drivers released on Armoury Crate. The game was crashing after a few seconds in a race but now, its running without issues.

I would like to confirm with you whether, after reinstalling the system, you have tested with the ASUS-verified AMD graphics driver version V31.0.24028.3 from the official website? Additionally, apart from Forza Motorsport, are other games running normally? Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. I'm definitely using this version of the driver yes, together with Adrenalin version 23.4.

@Anbby_ROG , sorry didn't answer your 2nd question. Yes, other games seem to work correctly, including Forza Horizon 5.

Yeah this is an issue, I believe it has something to do with memory consumption, i also have this issue

Having the same issue. Would be nice to actually play something on this expensive paperweight.

Please try adjusting the graphics memory (Settings > Operating Mode > Graphics Settings) through Armoury Crate SE to see if it improves the issue.
If the problem persists, please enable the log recording function in Armoury Crate SE, record a video of the Forza motorsport crashing issue. Kindly provide the following information along with the video and log files via private message for further verification. Thank you.

In Armory Crate SE, navigate to" Settings">"General" and check the "About" page. Click on "App Diagnostics tool" and select "Log Files" to bring up the Privacy Policy statement. Once the user agrees to the statement, Armory Crate will start collecting diagnostic logs. You can click on "Generate Log Data" to create an encrypted log file (ASUS log file).
