L1 & R1 not working on ROG Ally Z Xtreme

It is ROG ally Z Xtreme and i just bought it a month ago. From the first day i bought had this issue L1 & R1 not working. But in Desktop mode it works and when i change it to Gamepad mode it doesnt work the L1 & R1, i could be software issue not the hardware.

Does the issue of L1/R1 not working in gamepad mode occur in every game? Could you provide us with the names of the games where this issue happens so we can further investigate?

Have you tried reconfiguring the L1/R1 buttons in the Control Mode - Configuration section of Armoury Crate SE to see if the issue improves?

Additionally, please tried removing ASUS System Control Interface v3, uninstalling Armoury Crate SE using the uninstall tool, and then reinstalling ASUS System Control Interface v3 version V3.1.41 and Armoury Crate SE to see if there is any improvement?Thank you!

First of all it is RC71L bios 1.5

wheb I keep it in desktop mode the R1 L1 or what you call it RB or LB if I configure to be show keyboard it works when I click it

but when i switch to gamepad and try to configure R1 to show keyboard or anything else it doesnt work. Also I tried to play football life when I go to settings to configure the buttons all the buttons work except the L1 & R1 but if I use external joystick for PS it works fine.

Thank you for your response. Could you please confirm if the issue with R1 and L1 not working only occurs in Football Life (2024/2025)?
Are you launching the game through Steam or another platform? Additionally, could you share the configuration screen when using the PS controller and the built-in controller? Thank you!

Yes L1 & R1 not working football life has joystick on it’s own where you can configure the button.

also I’m not using steam deck to launch the game I’m using window 11 to launch jt

To further clarify your issue, could you please record a video showing Football Life running, demonstrating that the L1 and R1 buttons do not work, while they function correctly when using a PS controller? Additionally, please provide screenshots of the key configuration settings in Armoury Crate SE as well as the built-in controller settings in Football Life. Thank you!

I tried the method to uninstall interface v3 and update with new one v 3.1.41 als reinstall armory crate. Nothing changed

but one question when u went to device manager and click on system device and checked Armoury crate control interface update it shows version1 is that ok

Also you told me to configure in control mode the L1 R1 button which is RB LB. If you go and check there is no setting to configure LB and RB only for triggers and XYAB
