Hello everyone,
I need some help with an issue I'm experiencing with my ROG XG Mobile 3080 eGPU, which is connected to my ROG Ally.
Recently, I tried updating the drivers by downloading them directly from the ASUS website, but since then, my eGPU hasn't been working properly. When I connect it, the system detects the eGPU, but I get an error regarding a power issue. Additionally, I've noticed that the LED on the eGPU has turned pink, which has never happened before.
I’ve already contacted ASUS support, but they informed me that they no longer have replacement parts available for repair, as the device is quite old. However, I believe the problem might be software-related rather than hardware-related.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Do you know how to resolve the pink LED error or fix the power issue? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for the help!

Could you please provide photos and screenshots to help us further confirm the pink LED issue on the eGPU and the power error message?
Have you tried using DDU to completely remove the display drivers and then reinstall the eGPU drivers to see if it helps improve the situation? Thank you.

It gives me this error, and the LED is pink.

This is the error message it gives me. It indicates that the ROG XG is detected but not working and suggests checking the cables.
