I just want to be sure asus is supporting what they sold us all.
i know it takes time for drivers ect to be built, but we want to be sure were getting the same support other devices are getting same long life support expected and other brands get.
what's bothering me is the slow response times on the forum with simple requests.
and want to know were not going to be discarded for future products to flourish while our devices receive no attention.
thank you for reading.

It’s drivers that are the issue. When will we get a driver to stop doom the dark ages crashing? This is the issue. We can’t sideload from AMD anymore.
And some YouTubers are given pre release drivers to test the games on the ally and ally x. Yet we have drivers months behind with no confirmation as to when ASUS will offer drivers that support the new games. I want to play doom the dark ages but can’t.
Also I’m on a driver you officially released that I downloaded from your own myasus tool that has support for avowed - a game I play. It stops it crashing. Yet you say I need to uninstall this and roll back to an old driver since you later pulled this driver.
The situation is there is a total lack of support but also clarity as to when we will receive drivers that support the big new game releases. I think this would be tolerable if drivers were simply about features but in today’s world each big new game requires that dedicated driver support to operate well or in some cases run at all. Yet we simply now have no options but to wait and there is no information offered as to when we will get this support. It does personally make me pretty wary of windows handhelds in the future.

Well said I have a thread here also: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/handheld-gaming/why-can-we-no-longer-sideload-the-latest-amd-drivers/m...
Before doom released I raised concerns about us being miles behind when AAA games release, its totally unfair. When FC23 released the Ally couldnt get past the games splash screen for 3 weeks, you had to sideload. But i've since spoken to AMD who confirmed that handhelds should not be able to use their drviers, even though we have been able to since the Ally launched. Its really disappointing, they released their game ready driver days before Doom launched, yet our official drivers couldn't get AFMF2.1 working which i don't use anyway, got backdated we are absolutely months behind, its disgusting.... Was never really an issue when you had the sideloading option, but now you can't its awful
