Several people have reported this issue on Reddit; I've encountered it myself as well.
I created this thread on the ROGAllyX subreddit to try and gather info, no one else has added to it yet but it also has links to all the other threads I've seen about this matter: https://www.reddit.com/r/ROGAllyX/comments/1eoch1d/rog_ally_x_black_screen_crashes_has_it_happened/
Wondering if anyone can shed any more light on the cause and/or workarounds, or if an upcoming update is going to sort it.

Uh bios 310 for the Ally X? Where did you get that or it's something that has been pulled out from the website today?

Yea. It's a beta bios for troubleshooting the black screen crash.

Anyone else on the latest beta BIOS sent by Anbby experiencing a lot more system instability?
I get way a lot more BSOD including frequent ones coming out of hibernate.
I just tried to run the dump tool to make a log to send and I got BSODs on both attempts in middle of the log
I have tried 4 times to generate a log and each time so far I got BSOD.
perhaps I need to rollback the BIOS for now.

So far I had 1 crash from beta "switch" version, right after flashing bios. But it has not happened since.
Version 310 hasn't given me a crash. Hopefully it stays that way. Finger crossed.
For my units I am operating on windows balanced power profiles with sleep and hibernate functions disabled.
Do you have bios305 files? Maybe give that one a shot again. My 305 seems to have somehow "stabilised" after 2 to 3 black screen crashes.

I couldn’t even roll back to BIOS 308.

from the 310 Switch version? maybe bring the security level back up to 3 and then try again? not sure if that will change much.

Good evening guys, just a quick check, did you guys check on your Microsoft Event Viewer during the time of the crash? Wondering if we are being tiggered by the same event trigger. I noticed my recent crash seems to coincide with an event "DistributedCOM 10016 Windos.SecurityCenter".
Historically this event seems to have made its rounds with very similar crashes to our Black screen crashes. win 10 or 11. I am trying some fixes with the RegistryEditor as well as removing some of the Relevant folders.
I will be testing more and provide more data.
