Cloud recovery stuck on the "checking"

Hi, I replaced SSD to the 2tb and after using "Cloud recovery " it finished downloading system file but after that it stuck on "checking". Right now I think it will be like 2 hours. Is it suppose to take that long or what should I do now?

Yeah you can. I had to restart mine a couple times till i decided to change the date for the heck of it. Lo and behold it worked.

Looked up what was faffing around and mouth agape like "No way.."

Installed 2 tb drive and did recovery.  Cant get past windows spinning icon.  Already changed date in bios

Okay so I just experienced the same thing and I want to elaborate on how I got the fix in and make things easier for others to understand what's really happening.

1.) Make sure the firmware is for sure updated.
2.) UPDATE your TIME AND DATE in bios this is a factor.
3.) IF you get stuck on the checking screen this isn't what it seems This isn't a check like Are all your files there ok no "THIS IS A CHECK WITH ASUS SERVERS FOR YOUR WARRANTY" So now that we know what that really means if this happens and step 1 and 2 are done Hard power off the device and do cloud recovery again and again if needed bc Asus auth servers are messed up and it's not validating your warranty information I know it's frustrating it took me 3 times and 3rd time it took but this could be because of the huge influx of people buying the device and hammering ASUS's Cloud Recovery servers. So like I said it's a connection issue nothing more nothing less.
