Cloud recovery stuck on the "checking"

Hi, I replaced SSD to the 2tb and after using "Cloud recovery " it finished downloading system file but after that it stuck on "checking". Right now I think it will be like 2 hours. Is it suppose to take that long or what should I do now?

One update that did not want to download and install was a random 1 but out of like 30 that was the only 1, under windows that is. Out of all of those windows ones did any of them give you issues

Yeah, had one that was a bit finicky. Just persisted retrying until it took.

Sweet definitely appreciate the feedback. Hate that im on try 3 but for a fact I didn't mess with asus app. So to clarify, you were stuck on the checking screen??

Is it safe to reboot the device when it’s stuck on the “checking” screen?

i literally just forced shut down. did that two separate occasions before getting it right the 3rd time. so yes

Before you give up buddy, try this other method:

it worked for me. A bit of a pain to reinstall all the drivers, but it worked fine after that. Good luck!
