Hi, I replaced SSD to the 2tb and after using "Cloud recovery " it finished downloading system file but after that it stuck on "checking". Right now I think it will be like 2 hours. Is it suppose to take that long or what should I do now?

Have you tried to put the good date and the good hour in your bios before to use Cloud Recovery ?

Regards.

No I did even pay attention to that le me tried it

Dont forget, update EVERYTHING,on 512ssd THEN swap out. You to do windows, Amory crate and MyAsus app (On taskbar).

Everything was updated even the new drivers and bios

That's crazy.  I've got this exact issue.   Updated the date and time in bios and it worked!  The power of the community wins again!  Nice 👍

For most people who are still having this issue and more or less Didn't read the entire conversation.

TLDR : When you boot into the Bios, Update your Date and Time first before doing the cloud recovery. It then works.

Why? I dunno. It just works.

Yep.

reason i was given is because of encryption-safety algorithm for the cloud downloads.

It works using pretty synchronized date & time within a small tolerance.

so time should be set as tight as possible to the atomic clock (or your smartphone time).

Ok but if you are stuck on the checking screen can you just do a hard shut down
