Can't complete product registration on second hand ROG Ally

Hello, I recently bought a second hand ROG Ally but i cannot register it because probably already did that when he first purchased it.

Is there any way to register this device again and attach it to my account?

Once a buyer registered product's serial number under his/her name first, there's no magic button or option to remove it from registered products list (unless there would be such a request to support, but why first owner would want that?). Serial numbers is unique, so item can't be added twice. It would work ONLY if-and-when first owner just bought and used it w/o registering on Asus website first.

I've seen other people on this forum reporting the same thing, seems that an ASUS rep may be able to solve this and assign the serial number to the correct account.
