Hi,
In the beginning of this summer I bought Asus Rog Ally Z1 Extreme. Everything was working pretty well until this September, when I updated Windows and installed the latest AMD drivers. Since then I notice performance decrease - the games load and run slower, now and then they crash. And the FPS dropped. Here are some examples:
Lego Hobbit 2014: before the update it was perfectly playable (steady 60+ fps, even on 10W, if I recall right). After the update I barely get 20fps even when Ally is plugged in (30W). I noticed that the GPU is stuck on 800MHz and does not move at all. In youtube there are videos of people playing it with 150fps.
Fifa24 and ForzaHorizon5: the update does not seem to affect these games that much, although I remember faster loads and higher frame rates bot both. Some crashes are present now and then. The GPU is not stuck on 800MHz.
Some of my emulation games stopped working.
Has anyone experienced such issues? Can you tell me how to solve this? Or at least point out steady Windows + drivers versions.
Current software versions:
Windows 11, version 23H2 with KB5043145 from 2.10.2024.
BIOS Update V341 from 25.09.2024
AMD Graphics Driver V32.0.11021.3002 from 09.09.2024
Thank you in advance!
Greetings.

Hi,
After my post here, I kept searching in Internet and I found solution. It turned out, that I had to disable the touch-screen device from DeviceManager/Human machine interface. Then the game ran great. This seems to be a common problem for the Lego games and Asus rog ally.
I still think the game was runnig fine with earlier versions of Windows or Asus drivers, but to prove it I need to start reinstalling versions.
I don't use sd card.

Since we have not received similar feedback from other users at this time, to clarify whether the issue is caused by the update, we suggest that you roll back Windows and the AMD drivers to see if it improves.
Additionally, may I ask if you are using an SD card? Please test it without the SD card and see if that makes a difference. Thank you.
