So I’m pretty fed up at this point. I got my Rog Ally a few months ago and always had a constant problem with the docked mode. On handheld it runs perfectly fine, no problems, but whenever I would connect it to my TV through the dock the handheld screen would go black and 90% of the games I had were extremely laggy on the TV. I had looked for a while and had found no fixes but a few weeks ago I read a post that said if you dropped the display resolution it would fix it. So I tried this and it ended up working and I was good to go with no lag for a few weeks. I was playing earlier today and everything was fine but after taking a break and coming back, it’s doing the same thing as last time making most of my games unplayable while in docked mode. Now whenever it connects it has an orange light like it’s being charged but when it was working properly and both screens were displayed at the same time, that light was white. I don’t know what I did to mess it up this thing really just has one problem after another for me. Resetting the display resolution didn’t fix it, I’ve updated everything to date, I’ve checked all my cables and they are all working fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m Really considering just tossing it in the trash and getting a valve steam deck because I’ve been struggling to fix this for hours now and I shouldn’t have to fix something again that I had already fixed previously. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Alright I’ll just invest in an actual steam deck that can hopefully do its job right. I’m done with this pos not connecting anymore. I’ll be sure to let friends and family know to stay away from all things rog ally since the products and devices don’t work properly. Thanks for being a useless community who doesn’t know anything.

You mentioned that the issue only occurs when using the dock to connect to the TV. To further clarify your problem, could you share the brand and model of the dock and TV, as well as the brand and model of the charger you are using?
Have you tested using a different 100W or higher charger to see if the issue persists? Thank you!
