Ally X MIcroSD card issue

Hi All, 

I'm trying to use a 512GB Samsung microSD in my Ally x. Initially I put it in the X and was asked to format it, the format failed and the ****** would come and go from file explorer as an SDHC card of 8GB that needed formatting. 

I tried formatting the card on another computer, and verified it works 100% on that computer, put it back into the X and it's the same issue, it shows up initially as an SDHC card of 8GB, then says it needs formatted, the format fails, and then it's gone from windows explorer completely until I restart. Any ideas?

Based on the described situation, it is possible that the card reader in your ALLY is experiencing recognition issues.
It is recommend reinstalling the card reader driver for testing, and if the issue persists, bringing your device to a service center for further inspection.
