Ally X CPU drops to 700MHz when plugged in

Have a 2 month old Ally X, installed 4TB Samsung EVO SSD.  Was working great, but then a few days ago when docked CPU drops to 700MHz and system is unusable.  As soon as dock is unplugged CPU goes back to normal, even just power is causing the CPU to drop, I’ve tried 3 different adapters.  I thought maybe it was an update so I uninstalled AC and reinstalled, I then tried a recovery from Windows, neither worked.  I swapped the original SSD back in and the system booted into BIOS, SSD check passes but no bootable device so I’m trying to do a cloud recovery from BIOS and no luck.  It throws a network error at about 75%, tried about 10 times over the past 2 days via both wi-fi and cable.  This is very frustrating…  Is cloud recovery broken?

Please try installing the original SSD and switching to a different network to perform a cloud recovery, then check if the issue is resolved.

If you still encounter issues during the cloud recovery process, please provide a screenshot of the error message and send us your serial number via private message so we can further investigate your issue. Thank you.

To speed up issue identification, please provide the product model, BIOS, and driver versions, along with the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to avoid redundant checks.
