Just got the Ally ROG for Christmas had it 5 days, didn't get to use it for a few days with all the Christmas stuff going on, finally got to have a good session on it, turns out the unit won't charge with the official supplied charger. Works with my ASUS laptop charger but I don't want to use this long term in case the rating is wrong, contacted ASUS who fobbed me off back to the retailer, I like the unit but if I'm taking it back to the shop I think I'll exchange it for an Msi Claw or steam deck, honestly if it didn't last a week before needing attention I doubt it will hold up to a serious gaming session, shame its a nice thing but I'm not confident in the unit or ASUS customer service at this point, reminds me of the Xbox 360 RROD but at least my Xbox lasted 6 months and was replaced in 2 days
