Ally firmware update put screen off from a lot of time

HideoKoncima

I restored my Ally with the Cloud Recovery, and everything went fine. Now, after I finished all Win 11 updates, I did Armoury Crate updates, and after some firmware updates, the screen went off and it's still off from 15-20 mins.
Stick leds are off, but the power led is on. Same for the fan. It's very light, but I can feel the wind coming out from vents. Charger is attached.

And this happened also yesterday, when I did the normal Win 11 restore procedure, the soft reset. After some mins of waiting, I forced the shut off with power button.
I repeated today with cloud recovery, just for the peace of mind, but the "issue" still happened.

EDIT: unpluggin and plugging the power cord again, seems to work as solution. The screen is on now, and led sticks as well. Weird. Seems like it suddenly goes in sleep mode during the updates.

Hi @HideoKoncima ,

When the screen is off and the power indicator light is continuously on, please press the power button and test if the screen lights up.
Additionally, go to System > Power & Battery settings and set the screen-off time to "Never" to see if the issue improves. Thank you.

I think there is a bug in Windows or in the Asus firmware update tool, maybe.

Because, as I said, I fixed it simply unplugging and plug again the charger. And the power saver screen clearly shows it should't sleep when the charger is in.

Hi @HideoKoncima ,

When connecting to power, ALLY's screen lights up due to the detection of charging, and this is a normal phenomenon.
In the settings "System > Power and Battery," there is an option " turn off the screen after a certain amount of time when plugged in". You can configure the time for screen turn-off when connected to power through this setting. The provided information is for your reference.
