Screen Tearing - G75VX - Looking for suggestions

Hello;

I have a G75VX. I like to play side sidescroller/left to right type games, games such as Guacamelee!, Rogue Legacy and recently, Axiom Verge. I seem to encounter a considerable amount of screen tear/blurryness when moving from left to right in these types of games. It's extremely distracting, to the point where I've re-bought several of these titles on a console.

A lot of games, such as recently acquired Westerados do not have a Vsync option, however when you're traversing around, it's very distracting just how blurry everything becomes. I've always had my graphics drivers up date, not sure what else I should be trying.

I just thought I would add too that some platformers, such as Ori and the Blind Forest, this is almost unnoticeable however something like the pre mentioned Westerados and other indie games I almost can't play it as things become so distorted when the screen begins to move.

Hello davefrombc

You will get more responses if you post this is in the notebook section. 🙂

You should be able to force v-sync on in the NVidia control panel.

Yep, forcing v-sync should do the trick.
