Rubberbanding Problem after custom built new PC

Hi, 🙂

OC/BIOS/Software/Hardware newbie user here,

Well, I just built a custom PC with a spec of:

Specs:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4930K @ 3.40GHz
Motherboard: Rampage IV Black Edition
GPU: Asus GTX 780ti DirectCU II OC
PSU: Silverstone Strider Gold 850 Watt
Memory: Corsair Vengeance PRO 16GB 1866MHZ
OS: Windows 7

The problem is when i try to play multiplayer games e.g DOTA 2, COD: Ghost, BF4.. I get this strange rubberbanding effect every now and then. My previous PC which was running on 750watt, AMD quadcore, gtx 560ti had no rubberbanding problem at all besides the regular lag (when my sister does the downloading).

All single player games runs perfectly. So is there something i'm doing wrong or is it a possible hardware/software failure??

Plzz Helpp~ 😞

Thx in advance

Rubberbanding is like stuttering in game where you're moving forward but then you'll find yourself not moving from the initial point.. Players will appear to move in one direction, and then suddenly be teleported back several feet where they once were a few seconds ago.

Initially I thought it was the latency of the games.. but using my previous PC the problem did not occur (hardly occur) as often as my current PC.. I mean even when in DOTA 2 has spikes when I play..

Perhaps to clarify further this rubber banding - Happens when only playing online - Multiplayer? No issues when playing the same game offline?

Do you have Network iControl installed and operating or similar software? What other network activity on your PC at same time? What other Router connected item activity affecting total bandwidth?

Very much sounds like a network issue to me rather than PC hardware, but i'm no expert.
Rampage iv Extreme.....3930 i7.....32gb Corsair Vengeance....Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme....Matrix HD 7970 x 2 in crossfire....Creative Fatality Champion Soundcard - With front drive bay....Themaltake Toughpower XT Gold 1475 watt power supply.....Samsung SSD 830 512gb...Samsung 1TB HD x 2....Samsung Blu Ray drive....Samsung DVD drive...Windows 7 Ultimate....Thermaltake Overseer RX-1 case

The PC quite empty for now, so little or no network activities going on.. doubt is a network issue, because other laptops and my previous PC still runs MP games fine.

Did you do a full clean OS install when you updated your system?

No if you did a new OS install for that CPU and that motherboard then no you are just peachy OS wise.

No idea why you are getting this issue, besides the possibility that it is a network issue. Does this rubber-banding you speak of happen when you are plaing without a internet connection?
