Hi there peeps,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirit.
I am having both ROG 8 and ROG 9.
I upgrade to 9 because wanna to use back the ultrasonic sensor.
However, I wonder what Asus has done to the ROG 9? The touch response delay is so much more severe and higher than the ROG 8?
We need this phone to play high fps and particularly touch sensitive densed game, it is now delaying like a complete non gaming phone.
Despite when you check with the touch sampling where it still can go up to 720hz, but it doesn't help with the touch delay response.
Even when i scroll and read through a webpage or Facebook, i can obviously feel the response comes few miliseconds sometime per second basis after my finger touches.
Dear developer or Asus RnD, is it just a screen problem where i can go replace at service centre? Or this problem can't be solved perpetually?
Your help will be highly appreciated.
Regards.

Hi there, I hope this message finds you well.
I just played a game (MLBB), and I noticed a significant issue with the air triggers. When I press them, the screen doesn’t respond instantaneously. The response either comes after a few seconds or only after multiple presses. This high touch latency on the screen is concerning.
Can I request assistance from the ASUS team to resolve this issue? I’d greatly appreciate your help. Alternatively, should I visit a service center to request a screen replacement?
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the ROG 9 screen is less bright compared to the ROG 8 and suffers from this high touch latency issue. If a screen replacement won’t solve the problem, I’m hesitant to proceed as I don’t want to risk voiding my phone’s IP68 rating.
For your reference, I’ve already set the screen touch sensitivity to the highest levels, including sliding sensitivity, and enabled the 720Hz touch sampling rate. X Mode has also been turned on the entire time. However, the high touch latency is still affecting both gaming and daily use, diminishing the overall ROG gaming phone experience.
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated.
