Problems in most games - GPU damaged (GTX 460M)

Hi. I got a ASUS G53SW with i7 2630QM and GTX 460M. I'm having problems in most of my games and I've read that problems like these are most likely software-related. I don't know why this is happening and how I fix it.
I did a clean installation of the computer but that didn't help... could my GPU be damaged??

Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M (296.16, downloaded from ASUS G53SW-website)
10GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz (1x2GB + 2x4GB)
2x500GB @ 7200RPM
BIOS Version 203
