Need opinions on head sets

I'm picking up a temporary headset until I can afford better. I can only pick between 2 because I have a credit at my school book store for a couple hundred from a returned book. My options are the Logitech H390 and Skullcandy Lowrider. How do these two compare? I'm more worried about sound quality than comfort or anything else. Like I said these are my only options until probably this summer.

Skullcandy gives you a nice choice of cool colors thats a plus..

I think I would go with the skullcandy just because the Logitech headset is USB. Never been a fan of USB headsets.

Regarding sound quality they seem to be both the same, however, like Nate152 said, I prefer jacks to usb for audio.

I thought USBs were the big thing right now? Why are audio jacks better?

Does anyone have any personal reviews of either of them?

How do either of those stack up with other gaming head sets? What's most people using?

The advantage of audio jacks is that you can later on upgrade your build by adding a soundcard (those only work with audio jacks) which will greatly improve your sound quality. There is no most used headset, but Corsair is generally considered as the best creator of gamin peripherals.
