my first ROG build and wheen sli engaged crysis3 unplayable help

It plays crisis 3 great until I use NVidia panel to engage sli then it stutters so bad cant even try and play. System mobo ROG Maximus 5 extreme 4 x ddr3 1866, 3 x asus gtx 780 ti, I7 3770K, eva power 1300 watt, Samsung eva pro 500 gb, WD 2tb hdd, cooling h100i plus 3 cosair 12mm plus 3 shark aero fans 140mm, it plays crisis 3 pretty darn good but I try and make it better when I see in the nvidea panel that my sli in not engaged so I turn it on and then the stuttering starts but I am wondering if I ams using the ROG 3 dcard connector whish uses 2 slots on each video card makes a difference and have ing the OC key installed as instructed but not play with it yet. is the sli already working with the ROG software and the nvidea panel not see it, ima noob trying to learn again ROG products look so good Thanks to any help

The ROG 3d card connector is the 3 way sli connector, do you have that connected?

In the NVidia control panel under manage 3d settings set vertical sync to application controlled then enable v-sync in the game settings.

yep that is what I thought and it is like great I didn't know if it could et better now I will read more of the manual about OC it has lots of info they outdid themselves with this board and 3 3 780 ti awesome man thanks for your help awhile back, that why I decide to keep this board and not go 1150 socket

LOL yeah there are alot of settings in the bios to play with but you only need to change a couple of them to overclock your cpu. If you want to overclock your gpu's too I would recommend installing precision x 16.

If you want to overclock your cpu and need help just say so.

I go back to work tomorrow so wont have much time but yes I want to learn how, I built this separate from my other pc that I do my work from since I work from home and if I mess up my boss is not pissed off since im not online working, so its all good and I bought a 4 k monitor the Samsung 28 inch I sent it back not mu difference then what im playing on my old Samsung s27c230

Hmm ok set the screen resolution in the game settings to 3820 x 2160.

I'll show you how to overclock your cpu when you have more time.

it takes a while, you have to test for stability after each change.

ok I just ran 3dmark and was averaging 39 to 60 fps does that sound like everything is working probably right, or is there a way to check to see if the OC key is engaged since im brand new at this my second day

To be honest I've never used the OC key and when benchmarking disable V-sync.
