Yesterday, Sledgehammer Games' Co-founder, Glen Schofield was asking Call of Duty fans on his Twitter to help raise the Metracritic score.
The Metracritic score is separated into two categories, fan based reviews and critic reviews (media). Many zero scores have been given lately making the current score (out of 10) 3.2 on Xbox 360, 2.3 on PlayStation 3, and a mere 1.6 on PC.
In Schofield's words, “ I don't usually do this but, if u like MW3 go 2 Metacritic.com & help our user score," writes Schofield. "It's suspiciously low. Be honest but help if u agree.”
Later he went on to explain that, “I wasn't complaining. Unfortunate people took it that way. My bad.”
Due to his efforts the scores have slightly raised by an average of .2-.3 points, but ouch. My guess is the trolls came out from under the bridge.
