Yeah I played crysis 3. I've played all of them, the original is still one of my favourite SP FPSs.
But I think Crysis 3 is the worst of the 3. 80% is drab, war torn areas. I don't care how nice the gfx are, it's depressing to be always lying in the mud, taking fire.
The story is not as bad as the 2nd one, but the way it plays out doesn't make a lot of sense. Like constantly having the 3 main characters scream at you to get up a tower. You play for an hour through very heavy combat to get there. And then they're already up there waiting for you??!! Just stupid. That happens a lot.
And then playing the last boss, it just constantly freezes. So I uninstalled it. Very disappointed.
I'll come back to it in 6 months when there are patches and better drivers, but it's nothing on the the first. They should have gone back to the open world idea, instead of refining the crysis 2 gameplay and just making it more intense. Great gfx help a game, but they don't make a game. Crysis 3 needs a better story, gameplay and design. I give it 2/5.
