LCD TV Help

My friend gave me a 32" LCD TV and I am using as my main monitor for the time being. The picture is not good and I understand somewhat there is a difference between and computer monitor and an LCD TV. Does anyone have any info on settings etc, for getting the best picture possible from the TV?

Your best picture will be at the TV's native resolution. For a 32" that might be 1280x720 or 1024x768 or 1366x768. Best to try a few different options available and see what looks best. And depending on your graphics driver there might be a "TV resolutions" list in the advanced settings. Note that the TV might claim to support 1080 but not actually have that many pixels so even if it allows that as an input you would want to go lower for best picture from a PC.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Also, make sure any zoom options on the tv are set to normal and not something like "panoramic" or "wide"
