Killer Instinct SUCKS on ROG G751JY

No matter what I do I can't get Killer Instinct the way it should on my G751JY.
When I start matches, everything suddenly goes slow-mo. The framerate is smooth and the sound runs up to speed but the gameplay just slows down big time.
This only happens during games. The menus all work up to speed.
Here's everything I've tried so far to get it work and the result:
1. Turned all graphics in game settings to minimum. No effect.
2. Turned off v-sync. No effect.
3. Restarted game. First match starts at normal speed, but slows down after a few seconds. All matches afterwards are at slow mo.
Can anyone help me out here?
Here are the specs of my device.

Windows 10 64-bit
GTX 980M
16gb RAM
i7 @ 2.60 ghz

Have you tried connecting by ethernet instead of wifi? It could be a network problem.

Also, does it do this with other games or benchmarks?

These are offline matches. I don't have this problem with any other game. I have DOOM on ultra settings and it runs perfectly.

Fixed it! Just had to update the BIOS. 🙂
