I purchased and played it throughout half of December and all of January.

Now that I've maxed out one character the thought of leveling another is exhausting. Not because its a chore, but because the story is so engrossing. The game is very well done and very enjoyable.

For me, the inherent problem with it was the game was a hybrid of World of Warcraft and Mass Effect 2. This had me wanting to play either World of Warcraft OR Mass Effect 2 and not the hybrid.

I've since cancelled my subscription and gone back to World of Warcraft. Don't let that discourage you, it's still a great game and I know I'll be back to it in a couple of months to try out another class.

anyone who has grown tired of wielding swords and using bows to cope with his or her enemies is welcome to join in Star Wars: The Old Republic and experience a thorough change.

I played a sith juggernaut from launch until a few months back, to be honest its an ok game but not worth the money, especially considering EA isnt helping to make it better, population dropping, quality sub standard etc...
Its going free to play in a few months so wait a while and save your money.

Sadly I think that SWTOR is not worth the money. Your better off getting one of the older SP games like KOTOR
