I understand this isnt rog specific but I am not getting anywhere fast and there are no faqs on this card on asus site
http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/ENGTX560_Ti_DC2_TOP2DI2GD5/#support_WarrantyI am presuming this card can output audio through dvi,
1 because I have heard it can and
2 because of this picture on my system

when I plug the cards hdmi output into my tv, hdmi then has an audio display attached to it, surely dvi1 and 2, wouldnt be listed here if they wasent capable of passing audio, also

CVTE becomes enabled when i attach my gpus hdmi, the other greyed options listed must be to do with the gtx dvi.
my question here is if my card is capable of this, do i need a specific dvi>>hdmi adapter, like an asus branded one? Ati have a special dvi>hdmi adapter for their cards that send audio,
another question, I have vmware setup, now for testing purposes, I plug my gtx into my tv (hdmi), I can now select this CVTE TV as an audio device, now anything inside that vm, outputs its sound to the tv, GREAT
what I want to know is, if I can carry audio over dvi>hdmi with this card, can I then send 2 different audio signals,
Ie in one instance of vmware choose CVTE TV as my audio device and in the other instance of vmware choose "digital audio (hdmi) 5"
so vmware 1, with its own audio signal is on tv1, and vmware 2 with its own audio signal is on tv2,
thanks for youre time
