GTA iv help please

I'm a bit of a GTA fan and bought a GTA iv bundle pack from steam. I am unable to adjust graphics and there is a warning saying something like I am close to my maximum gpu capability but this is far from accurate. I am only using around 250 of 3000 gpu memory and when bench is run I am using less than 30% of anything. I have the latest drives. Any ideas

ATI Catalyst Control Center, find out which CCC works better for the 7k series from here -> http://benchmark3d.com/ - They benchmark each driver and list known issues. Also always download the latest CAP (Catalyst Application Profiles)

The problem had nothing to do with gpu drivers. In answer to my own question..

GTA iv was made for gpu with 2gb memory or less and has no support for my 3gb gpu. To fix the problem I had to go to steam game library, right click on the game, click properties then click launch game options. You must type
-nomemrestrict -norestrictions
into the box that appears. It works perfectly now.

Having a more gpu ram was really the issue? Thats just stupid game design
