GPU Temps

hey all, new to the gaming laptop world and im wondering about temps with my new laptop.
I got a asus G750JS, comes with a 870M ads im sure most you will know. i am curious what is normal temps on the GPU and is the asus GPU tweak software as reliable as a third party. id also like to know if anyone here has got G750JS that came with the 750GB Hybrid drive? is there still a bif difference going to SSD.

sorry i should say what is normal temps on the GPU when gaming.. so far i have seen it go to 80C i was playing shadow of mordor, but i was not playing to long maybe 10 min.

nobody? right now while gaming im hitting a high of 83C im wondering if this is too hot and if i should be running my fans full speed.

Hey man, maybe this temp is too high I think!
Try to reduce the quality of the game, my computer never goes above 72ºC....(overclocked)

I just ran a stress test on our G750, using FurMark and at ultra settings. My results were as followed: Idle 35c and full load at 84c. Mind you, this is a rough number and can change based on many different things, such as dust build up, heat conditions etc. Please understand that the temps you have may change a tad bit (the same for any other G750's out there). That said, we can compare your notebook and the notebook here and use these temps as a guideline. Further, I think it is safe to say you are in the clear and have nothing to worry about.

As a precaution, just remember to use your notebook on a hard surface, such as a table. Do not use the unit on a place where the notebook can easily build up heat.
