Gaming Headset/mic

Looking for opinions on a good but not overly expensive gaming headset/built in mic.

I currently have the Logitech G930. While it is a great wireless headset I have had issues recently with its connectivity and interference. Logitech not so smartly has its wireless in the frequency range of most Wifi modems and other wireless devices. I have searched everywhere to find a solution to it shutting on and off frequently (Most often during primetime 8-10pm Est in my area). Just yesterday it would disconnect/connect every 3-4 seconds. It does not help that I have ~18 wifi signals that are medium-high strength in my apartment building. I am not sure if its a wireless issue or a battery issue as their and all forums seem to not have a clue and people have RMA'd it to have the same issue with a new set.

I am looking for a wired headset <100$. Have been looking at the Razer Kraken Pro but there are so many options I am curious as to what other people have/used in the past.

I just got the Razer BlackShark Expert 2.0. Probably not as comfortable as my old Razer Carcharias but it suits my needs. Really like the boom mic on this one.

I believe I recommended the headset to you, and I am truly sorry. I will never again recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Razer Kraken Pro is probably the best choice at that price point. They're not quite RoG, because of the Razer paint job.

If you care enough about matching looks, the RoG Orion Pro is just 122USD (22 overbudget) @ Amazon, and it doesn't have a single review less than 4 stars, and averages at 4.6 stars.
Say hi to the next generation.

Thanks guys,

Antro you did not recommend it to me. I was on that thread recommending it with you. It works great.. when not cutting out. I purchased it because my brother had one and loved / still loves it. But he lives in a house with only a single wifi in range. I would recommend against wireless headsets if you live in densly populated apartment complexes.

I was thinking the black version of the Kraken pro just as you recommend Abvolt. Funny that after posting this my gaming session yesterday had 0 disconnects from the headset.. like it knew it might be on the way out...

On a happier note, Swift ROG monitor release date is now somewhat firm in July!!

I am looking to get a new headset, but I want the best ROG has to offer unless ROG is releasing something new soon that I can wait for.
