I've looked around at a few headsets and come up with a couple that I like.

SteelSeries 7H Gaming Headset Fnatic Limited Edition

SteelSeries Siberia V2 Full Size Headset Heat Orange

I can't quite workout how much difference there is between them all, or which is the better choice. Advice to the differences and the better option would be great 🙂

There's not much difference in price so hat bit doesn't really worry me.

If you play first person games and have 7.1 or even 5.1 surround sound audio card or onboard audio I would recommend the Razer Tiamat.

Logitech B530 USB Headset

I have had these for 2 years now and have had only 1 problem. The wire for the mic on the inside near the speaker frayed and the mic stopped working due to too much moving of the mic. But I was able to fix it and now have no issues.

The sound is great, clear and crisp using the onboard sound and windows drivers. But I’m also not a huge sound enthusiast so it may just be me being satisfied with what I have.

My friends say they can hear me clearly sometimes too clear. Noise cancellation is ok but if it’s too loud in the back ground the mic will pic it up and again its clear.

My GF was in the living room (my comp is in the dinner room) and she can talk a little above normal and my friends can hear pretty much every word she says.

So I say they are the best ones I have had.

P.S. I have 2 kids that sneak into my computer area and mess with anything they can. I have all Logitech items (mouse, keyboard head phone speakers...) and they all have held up to the punishment of my kids... very pleased with them...

This sounds more like a review LOL sorry about that....

I nabbed the Razer Kraken headphones when they were on sale, no regrets there, pretty comfy, but a little expensive unless on sale to be honest.

I'm using the ORION PRO headset. I simply LOVE these things. I love the fact that they have the built in Spitfire sound card that you don't need drivers for. So wherever you go to use your headset, they will always be the same great quality when you plug them in! Plus they are ROG so you can't go wrong with that 😛

I too am using the the Orion pros which sound great but i will be passing them on soon as they are heavy and iv had a sore neck now for the last week from excessive use, and i dislike sweety ears. the usb dongle is good but looking for a chopper flying above you is impossible

Why compromise on sound just to get an attached mic?

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's are great headphones for gaming, music and movies, the DT770 Pro LE's are even better.

Then just get yourself a mic.
