Since DICE did the last update of Battlefield 1 (several months ago), I have the refresh rate listed on my monitor (144) all the time.

How may I remove that? Thx...

Which monitor do you have? The refresh rate will remain 144 unless you change it, or when you enable G-SYNC or Adaptive-Sync/FreeSync.

You can disable it by pressing the GamePlus hotkey on the monitor, and then select FPS counter.

I have the Acer 27" XB271HU... G-sync, 144hz, 2560x1440, IPS.

In-game (Battlefield 1) I enter the command to shut that off... does nothing.

Check that overlay is disabled in GeForce Experience and that no other monitoring tools are active, Rivatuner for instance.
