Hey guys! I'm not sure if anyone remembers the disaster that was FFXIV. The launch flopped, and to say flopped, is an understatement. It burned to the ground really; all leading to SE releasing a public apology letter for the crap it let come out of its studios.
THANKFULLY, they are keeping hold to their promise to create a better product.

Now, the important part.
SE is going to re-release this game, basically as a new game, they will have pre-order, standard and collectors editions available, etc etc that you will have to buy for around 60 bucks. If you are truly interested in playing though, don't wait! Yesterday, SE released a statement telling us that they ordered all retailers to liquidate and/or destroy the original version of this game. Select online retailers have the game for sale at a low low $10!! If you buy the game now, you will receive this new 2.0 version absolutely free! Save now and get a legacy account (announced as a premium membership for the upcoming new release, for those with original edition accounts. This will provide special privileges and features). I just purchased a collectors edition from newegg for 20 bucks, very cool. You can purchase the standard edition for $10 at amazon and gohastings.
