Far Cry 5 Performance

Hey everyone, just wondering how Far Cry 5 is performing on your pc's.

how can i properly configure if i have a geforce gtx 2gb 950m, intel core i7 and 8gb ram? Currently I do not play 1080p, and I have graphics in normal but I'm only 30 fps how I could improve my graphics resolution without lowering my fps? (on 2 GB of my graphics card, I have already used 1.94)

Did you get the restarting problem sorted ?

Here is some more gameplay with 391.35, the ubisoft update and the windows 10 1803 update.

I do have one quirk with this game, when I filled up the resistance point meter to 100% it automatically took me to fight the leader of that region. There's still stuff to do, I should be able to choose when I go fight the leaders not when the resistance point meter fills up.

Rolled back to earlier drivers and OK now. Pretty serious issue though.

I really think Ubi f'd up with the meter fills = fight the leader. You want to take your own time to meet them on your own terms. After you fight you miss out on a load of story! You can't go back. Really disappointing. I'm half way through Faith's region and 2/3s the way filled the meter. I literally have to stop shooting people and run away just to do the story missions.

Welcome to the ROG forum !

In the Nvidia Control panel under manage 3d settings, set what you can to high performance or application controlled then in the game's graphics options, set everything to low or off and see how many FPS this gets you. Then you can start adding quality settings until you find a happy medium between performance and quality.

Here is a video with a user using a gtx 960m, he shows the game's graphics options and FPS.

Hey Nate, I’m on 397.93 was gaming for first time in a while yesterday and had a few issues, which I thought was my Oc, but having read this thread I realise it’s the driver issue for me!
So will roll back to previous driver, which, everything worked ok .
Then!,! I think I might just download far cry 5..... you converted me. Lol
At least thinking it was the Oc caused me to relook at settings? Now at 4.7ghz temps gaming *gpu 32 deg, cpu max 54deg. Realbench 74deg

far Cry 5 is a fun game, I've yet to play coop in the campaign, I can join your game or you can join mine with an invite. I'm pretty sure there's a couple achievements to get when playing coop. Add me to your Uplay friends list - Nate152

Far Cry 5 is friendly to gpu overclocking, I have the Titan Xp overclocked to Core 2038MHz, Memory 12992MHz, that's all but a 1.6GHz overclock on the memory.

What issues are you having with 397.93, it's working ok for me.

Just done a few hours now on fc5,seems my Oc wasn’t that stable.
At 4.8 ghz passed realbench and stress test ok, then loaded game and crash, huh!
Downclocked to 4.6ghz which I know was a safe Oc and far cry runs brilliantly 140+FPS , shows no matter what Oc you have it has to work in real world apps.
On latest driver as well now, so alls good here.

Sorry I missed you yesterday Nate152 , I’ve gotta do the training section ( should have done it at the start) , I was just going blindly through keys to do things = dead, lol . ( the hints flash off before I get to read them, too busy looking for cover.
But yeh! Great game and the helicopter is just dead cool .( great taking out the statue with it)
Question ? How the f**k do I kill guards, nothing I try touches them in there body armour, and to add insult to injury I get the message ‘do I want to give up’ What! No, I want to killll them ******
