First thing first, many thanks to a YouTuber named gaming performance. He is the person who is told me to do this way. In Armoury Crate set GPU mode to Standard and in Nvidia control panel > manage display mode, switch to optimus. It will help you run this laptop in HDR mode without crash or screen turning into a black screen. However, it comes with the other problem, the HDR comes worse than the SDR mode. I mean, it looks yellowish. After doing some research, I found somehow ASUS armoury crate puts off muti-zone backlight in HDR mode. I hope someone in this forum will share how to fix HDR mode with multi-zone enable.

Thank you very much mate. I tried it but unfortunately it didn't work. I think it is because your model is G634JY as the file names are like that. Mine is G634JZ (with 4080). But i think I'm on the right track, if I find someone with the exact same model number I think it'll work 🙂

Hello HONOR
You could try performing a system recovery, this should put your laptop back to like new with all the proper files/apps installed.

Nate this has nothing to do with that. This is a known issue with Nvidia 4-series this year, Asus needs to release an entire new bios./microcode update to fix the issue. Apparently Lenovo and XMG have already started. Please escalate this to your developers!
