Anyone here using TikTok to share ROG setups or gaming clips?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering—has anyone been using TikTok to share their ROG builds, setups, or gameplay clips?

I’ve seen a few insane battlestation videos and gaming edits floating around, and I’m thinking of posting some of my own clips (mostly Valorant and a bit of Overwatch, recorded on my ROG Strix). I’m curious if anyone here has tried it and whether it’s actually worth the effort.

Do TikTok gaming posts get any traction these days? Or is it better for short memes and trends rather than serious setups or gameplay?

Also kinda random, but I stumbled on something called TikTok 18 the other day — looks like an alt version where people post less filtered stuff. Haven’t looked into it much, but if anyone’s checked it out for gaming or tech-related content, let me know. Here is link  of that website: https://protiktok18.com/

Would love to hear if you've had any success or tips on what kind of content works best—raw clips, RGB showcase, benchmarks, etc. Drop your @s if you're cool sharing too!

Hey! Great question, I've personally never posted any content on TikTok, but there is definitely great opportunity there, perhaps even more than YouTube or Instagram! TikTok is growing very fast in recent years, and this platform targeting young audiences is starving for user-generated content. It all boils down to which content-based criteria you can hit.

Is it something funny or bizarre footage? Is it a high-skill or team-wipe ultimate move? Do you have a face cam?

The key is also consistency. Don't expect your first or third video to get viral immediately. Sometimes it takes time and trends to shift in your direction and a video that didn't do well at first could suddenly get suggested by the algorithm. The important thing is to keep making convincing and engaging content, so hopefully, you find pleasure in doing it, otherwise you will eventually burn out.

Good luck!
