Hello fellow ROG enthusiasts,
I'm planning a new build and could use some advice from the community here. My primary focus is on gaming and multitasking, so I want to ensure that my setup provides both performance and future-proofing. I've been exploring options for desktop tower computers, particularly ones that can support high-end GPUs and advanced cooling solutions without compromising on aesthetics.
For context, I primarily play AAA titles at high resolutions and dabble in streaming. I’ve read that certain setups might encounter challenges with thermal management or power efficiency. What are some key considerations when choosing components for desktop tower computers to avoid these issues? For example, is investing in liquid cooling worthwhile for GPUs, or would a well-ventilated air cooling system suffice?
Also, any recommendations on reliable motherboards for overclocking would be appreciated. I want something that integrates seamlessly with a robust power supply and provides future compatibility with upcoming hardware.
Looking forward to your insights. Thanks in advance!

Hi Gabriellabrowne:
AAA games want a 4080 or higher. You could get a 4070 Super or higher to achieve better power efficiency.
For CPU, Intel 12th gen is more stable and uses less power but is end of life.
AMD x3Ds have the best power to performance.
I use air cooling (Be quiet!) over AIO, which wears out after 5 years or so.
