Nothing is up with 1015. Red-herring means the whole update process means nothing. So whether your card shows 1014 or 1015 is meaningless in terms of updates or bugs - they are both the same thing 1014 and 1015. Hope that clears up the confusion for you. If it doesn't, I don't know how many more ways to say it 😄

lol well off topic nvidia driver 314.22 vs 320.00 now that to me is not like 1014 1015 lol, o and i am getting my sound card tomorrow and i pray to god i dont go thru all the trouble that some people experienced ..

Well well i installed my Asus Phoebus sound card and omg no problems at all .. uninstalled all sound drivers and nvidia sound, used ccleaner rebooted pc, went straight to bios disabled onboard sound, booted into windows and installed asus software did the firmware update, shut pc down, stared pc up again and continued with driver installation.. firmware now 1015 either way its all working i was stressing so much just by all the stuff i read in these black hole forums about phoebus but Rog did not let me down...

Like I said, it's a bug. Not sure I can say that any other way for you to understand what that means my friend. Bug means it's a mistake or an error.



No idea on firmware in the future, if it's not needed then no it won't. If it is then it will be.

i know what a bug is but i like to understand why asus programmers implentate an Feature like an Firmware Flash who does nothing
