That is pretty close I have Sli on mine and its sandwiched between some card though i have 3 120mm fans blowing on top of them.... seems ok as far as i can tell.

Can you try to be more clear to what the problem is is it a heat problem also from looking at the photo yes the cards seem very close to each other this could be a problem for heat. you could try putting fans on them or above them.
