SOAR cold boot issues with Ryzen and software issue on Win10

This is something of a nuisance ive been dealing with for a little while. Figured i would post it here. Perhaps it is a bug or something that can be resolved.

I have a Asus STRIX SOAR Soundcard. I use it for it's ability to drive my high impedance studio headphone.

Thing is that since ive built my Ryzen 1600 build with a Crosshair VI Hero motherboard it hasn't been working as well as before. When i perform a Cold boot (like it has been turned off overnight) the Soundcard doesn't really start up. I don't hear the relays activating and windows reports no sound device. When i reboot i can hear the relays clicking and windows does see it and use it.

Also there is something about the sound card's software package giving some USB related issues. Like the Soar service crashing and then my mouse suffering from intense lag. Only way to avoid it is blocking the Strix software from starting with the OS and keeping it off.

Anyone else got this or got any advice??

Disable windows Fast Boot and Bios Fast Boot Also Delay your bios boot by 4-5 Seconds ( POST DELAY TIME )

Make sure memory is set to XMP or AMP or whatever AMD call it.

Screenshot just to show you where it might be, your bios will look different .

Tried your suggestions, They did not help. Cold boot issue still happens i'm afraid.

What other hardware do you have installed to your motherboard? The sound card shouldn't cause these issues so maybe it's something else causing this.

Can you provide the BIOS version you're on and whether or not you upgraded your current OS (Win 10) from Windows 7/8/8.1? Is your system currently overclocked or memory overclocked (D.O.C.P.)? What version of Sonic Studio do you have installed, what's the driver version, and I think you should download LatencyMon to check to see if your system currently has any latency related issues with other drivers and software.

I would also recommend making sure you have all the latest drivers installed for your system and don't use windows update drivers as what you're experiencing could be caused by a driver conflict. Also you said the only way to prevent these issues from occurring is blocking the software, did you already try uninstalling Sonic Studio and cleaning registry with a software like CC Cleaner before reinstalling it?

Issue has been on ALL bios versions from the one that came on the motherboard all to beta bios 1403. Having been updating whenever a good candidate was there. Windows10 OS is a FRESH installation. Memory being tweaked has NO effect (tried default and as close to XMP profile as possible, Ryzen is not perfect at that yet). Ive tried reinstalling drivers and updating. Which are the most current one (1113) with windows reporting ASUSSC150.sys (version 10.00.0016.9440) as the loaded driver. I keep the software off as it causes unusual USB problems in the form of causing all other devices (in particular my mouse and keyboard) to stutter immensely when a different USB device like a external drive or mouse gets connected before it crashes.

Latencymon does not report anything out of the ordinary and over the past 2 months of having been plagued i can assure that i have tried to cleanly reinstall and that ALL drivers are up to date (which is kind of mandatory on any Ryzen + windows 10 system anyway). Only thing i haven't done is completely reinstall the OS which is not an option to do. especially since the issue is seemingly noticable before the OS even starts load in the form of silence of the relays.

Thanks for providing back this information, I'll pass it along to our audio team to look into this issue and I'm sure they'll have to work with our MB team on this.

Edit:
Can you also confirm if this sound card is tested on a different system and is functioning properly? Before I report this I need to make sure this might not even be an issue but instead a defective card.
