Phoebus latest driver ASIO bugs

I tested Presonus Studio One 2.5.1.21166 in Asio mode in Windows XP 32bit.
Input latency was big,but at least it worked.


But it doesn`t work in Win7x64.
The reason why is on the screenshots.


In win7 input goes to output,and vice versa???
And there is also limited amount of input\outputs ports in Win7?

If you set the speaker configuration to 7.1 in Phoebus UI, will Studio One get more output channels?

Now 8 channels???? What are they?
But still in\out channels missing.
Compare to Win XP.
And the problem is that Input goes through Output channels,and Output goes through Input channels in Win7x64.
It`s like it wants me to talk to speaker and listen through mic.Some kind of street magic by David Blaine 😉
As for In\out channels,dont know why it got affected by windows 7.1 settings in Asio mode.

What windows OS are you running "WTC"? As this application does work fine for Windows 8. But has issues on the os he has.

Tried both Win7 32 and 64 bit, same result. Testing with Studio One 2.0 because it's free download.

Hi!
Now i`m totally confused.
Last demo version from http://studioone.presonus.com/demo-request/ site is 2.5.1.21166 .
You may see it Help->About Studio One.
I redownloaded and reinstalled both x86 and x64 versions with the same results as i got before.
Input and output switched with limited amount of those channels.
Even in your case channels are still missing,no way i can plug guitar in AUX,and there is no headphone output.
Compare it to my XP screenshots,where it works.
But still with huge latency if i compare it to Creative.
I dont believe someone can use Phoebus in karaoke mode.
Even with lowest latency 2ms ASIO settings,it gives about 1/2second latency in real life.
I tried Studio One with my previous Audigy4 and EMU0404 and it works without any problem.
Does Phoebus has non-standart ASIO driver?
I could leave it way it is,but i want to use all-in-one Phoebus card instead of jumping between 3 of them couple times per day.
Besides that here is Phoebus advertisement:
"ASIO 2.2 Driver Support :
44.1K/48K/88.2K/96K/176.4K/192KHz @ 16bit/24bit with VERY LOW latency"
It was one of the major reasons to get this card.
From previous "Version 7.0.1.20" of driver:
"4. Current know issue: ASIO can’t function under some occasions"
Maybe problem is still there?

PS.WTC,what firmware your Phoebus has 1014 or 1015?
Are there any Win7 updates installed?

Possibly try running ccleaner and cleaning out the old registry files yet? Open up run an type in %temp% and cleaning out the temp folder. I use youruninstaller as it does left over files as well as registry cleaning.

I use Ccleaner almost every day.
I cleaned all Presonus records manually in registry and folders before reinstall:
"C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming"
"C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Temp"
"C:\ProgramData"
"C:\ProgramData\TEMP"
"C:\Windows\Temp"

I know what i`m doing 🙂
